Kirsten Nash is a painter working primarily with traditional materials including oil pint and watercolor. For the past two decades, she has been exploring the intersection of landscape and abstraction through line, color, and shape, while considering how new technologies have drastically changed our perception of the world around us. Recent exhibitions of her work include her solo show, Your Bodies Are A Garden, 2021, at Way Out Gallery, Rensselaerville, NY; Where is Here, 2022, at Curious Matter, Newark, NJ; and Matter of Fact, 2022, a digital project in collaboration with the artist Deana Lee for the Intermission Museum. She maintains a studio in Long Island City, a place that has inspired much of her recent work.
